The Man With No Name

I've always wanted to do a carving of the character played by Clint Eastwood in all those Italian movies so here's my firs attempt. Hopefully, I captured that sneer that really makes the character and I confess I had a little help from the movie Rango where this figure made a brief appearance. There will be a holstered gun in the open area on the tombstone when it's finished. Comments always welcome and there are more photos in the Gallery.

  1. Another winner. I really like this one and you have captured 'that' look.

Will the gun be attached to the tombstone or be part of the carving itself?

  3. I thought of Clint Eastwood the instant I saw this carving...I think you captured him very well. He looks ready to take out the next hombre that crosses his path. Great job.

  8. You captured the true essence of "Clint, the bad Hombre", as he began his Spaghetti Western Career. That's definitely his hat! It was the only one like it.

Is it my just imagination or did he sorta "mellow" as he (and his characters) got older?
