Looking good. I tell ya I learn something new with each video. You make it look so easy. Plus you make me want to do better . You are an inspiration Thanks Ginny
I am really looking forward to seeing you do the buttons, I struggle to get them good looking and to not break off the button and leave a hole instead of a button. That was a pretty big knife you pulled out towards the end, but it makes sense that on a big carving you need big blades. I tend to keep my carvings in the 5-8 inch range, both to save on wood and to cut down on the amount of display space I need since I don't sell carvings and you can only give everybody you know so many. They do fit into storage boxes pretty compactly after a couple of years :) I know you never have a problem with what to do with older carvings, but I sure do. Maybe by watching your videos long enough I will get better and not feel like I have so many candidates for "the box". Thanks for sharing with us.
I have a request if you not mind. If would be very helpful if after each video you would hold up the carving and do a slow turn covering the part you did in that video. A close up in slow motion so to speak. Thanks Ginny

ReplyDeleteSorry if my question wasn't clear enough, but nailed the answer anyway. Thanks!
