Here is a little bust I just finished painting. It sat around my paint table for about 3 weeks while I thought about the beading design. I finally came across this one while doing some research on Google. I have several books on beading but am always on the lookout for more. The one to the right is a good one to have on hand.

Still in the process of putting the designs on Charlie Red Horses' Robe. Hopefully, I'll get him done this weekend as I want to get him into the Gallery so I can start on something else. I've noticed that my hit-count on the site meter is going down so I'd better come up with a new video project or you folks will start looking for greener pastures.

Anyway, hope you like this little effort and your comments are always welcome.
Good-un Lynn. Like the turban he's wearing and the bead disign is excellent.
ReplyDeleteI like it very much, great job as always. I notice that you do alot of research, when doing your carvings. I'm getting into that habit more and more. Thanks for everything. fred k
ReplyDeleteSorry Lynn!~
ReplyDeleteI was away on vacation for a while and that is why the hit counter dropped! Chuckling. I check in on things here at least 4 times a week - video of not!
Thanks to you and Judy.
Oh, and thanks for the reference material suggestions!

Lynn,
ReplyDeleteThe beading pattern looks great. Your colors are superb. By the way after checking out the gallery, I was wondering if used an eyepunch for the buttons on many of your pieces. Maybe that could be a segment of your next video. As always, thank you for sharing.
can you tell how the hits compare to a yr ago? im my case i have more to do outside and less time inside --so less time on the computer-- its raining to day in kc.
ReplyDeleteChuck: Just go to the site meter and click visits from the previous 12 months. This will give you the number of individual hits each month but not how many times they move around within the Blog looking at different pages or posts. It's running about the same right now due to the lack of recent video posts. As soon as I start a new one the counts will jump up again.
ReplyDeleteVery nice bust all your carvings are Lynn. Doesn't this on have a name?
ReplyDeleteJerry: My nametag source dried out and went out of business so until I find a new one I think the names for some of the smaller carvings will disappear. Hopefully, I can find a new one soon.
ReplyDeleteThat's to bad Lynn. I also was using the same place as you was for name tags so if you find a new one please let use know.
