Our Mom

Our Mom passed in her sleep early this morning.  Life and it's cares are behind her now, and she's back with Dad, her eldest son and all the friends that have passed before her.  It's a sad day Out West.

Our Mother
------------------
You can only have one mother
Patient kind and true;
No other friend in all the world,
Will be the same to you.

When other friends forsake you,
To mother you will return,
For all her loving kindness,
She asks nothing in return.

As we look upon her picture,
Sweet memories we recall,
Of a face so full of sunshine,
And a smile for one and all.

Sweet Jesus, take this message,
to our dear Mother up above;
Tell her how we miss her,
and give her all our love.

  3. You and Judy and the rest of your family have our deepest sympathy. It is always hard to lose a parent, you feel like a piece of your heart has gone with them. We can take solace in knowing they are in the arms of our Lord and are happy beyond measure in Heaven being once again reunited with all that have gone before. I know it hurts, and it hurts a long time...but our lives go on and we must continue to live righteously so we can reunite with our loved ones when our time comes to pass from this earth also. God be with you all in this time of sorow.

  30. It is a hard thing to lose a parent! But one of the great blessings of being a Christian, is that we WILL see them again, only they will be young, in perfect health,happy and joyous...! The Bible says "Cry when they are born, rejoice when they die..." for years I didn't understand that, now that I am in my senior years.....I do understand!
