Doc Holiday as portrayed by Willie Nelson in the later version of "Stagecoach".Can't say much for his acting ability,but his iconic appearance should lend itself to your talents and share with us.
An additional comment.Bust or full figure would be great.I would be particularly interested to see how you would handle Willie's long hair in a separate head scenario.
Nez Perce -Jackson Sundown, he was chief Joseph's nephew. 1916 World champion bronc rider. He was a young warrior when his tribe defied the fed government's order to move to a reservation in Idaho. His life's story is fascinating. He also dressed very colorful, so the potential for carving him is huge.
I'm still wanting to see how you put a cowboy on a horse. Maybe an Indian riding bare back. That's what I would love to learn how to do. Got the horse carved just waiting to add a cowboy or Indian. Thanks for asking us. Ginny

How about a old western cowgirl riding side saddle?? :) There was a lady in Quigly down under. "crazy cora" she didn't ride side saddle, but a fun idea of her big dress hiding the horse. if a how to on a kids face would be an option, that would be my ideal vote.

Allen G, has a great idea. Catbaloo would be great. I remember a scene where he is drunk setting on his horse leaning against a wall of a build. seems like the horse had his front legs crossed. That would be exciting to try and do. Ginny
You did a WWII Soldier head at one time, and never did get back to it, so may I suggest that you do a carving ,in that line , to honor all the GIs living and dead. fred k
Lynn, I would like to echo what all of the others say and thank you for sharing your talent. My request is not for a scene but for a short instructional video in how you create your folds and creases in your carving. They are very effective and create a lot of interest.
What I really would like to see is a tutorial for a carving of a grand-father, with a white mustache, in the style of the 1920's. I have one that I began but I am still having problems carving what I have in mind... Smoking a pipe, with a pocket watch, etc... It's not cowboy style, but it's close...
