Why didn't you adjust the top of the hat instead of using wood filler? Would have been harder but I would like to see you do that . This carving is really going to be something . Can't wait for more. Ginny
I am s glad to see you use wood filer. I have done that on a cuple of hats and the odd joint of an arm to the body and to see that you do it too (although not as often as I) makes me feel better. I haven't used epoxy, I would probably get it everywhere, that's where my glue seems to go. Don is looking better every video, so progress is occurring. Looking forward to the body, he should look great based on the model.
Lynn, he is looking really good, I was surprised to see the wood filler come out but sometime you got to do what you got to do. You tell Judy we would love to hear from the peanut gallery!!! Lynn, what size is the "bite" in the hat??
lynn great videos we do learn from them lots of people watch but they dont seem to comment the same happens on the wci site you see some threads with 600 and more views with 20 comments everyone needs to get more involved ask questions tell you what they would like to see you carve tips etc
