The Forty-Niner

The miner is complete now and yesterday I  built the base so the only thing left is the paint and varnish.  I still have a couple of crows to add to the tree which should add a little more humor.  There are a number of things that I could have improved upon but I'll address those once everything is finished.

How's your mom and be sure Judy is getting enough rest herself, taking care of someone is hard work.

A very visualy apealing piece. It combines humor with a touch of realism that makes it very enjoyable to view. I am wondering what the sign is going to say.....bet is is amusing. Hope all of you, including your Mom, are doing well in this new year.
