ReplyDeleteWell gee, that was a lot of fun. Looks like it's over. Now what will we do until Tuesday? Got anything else to get rid of Lynn? Didn't Myron Compton also win the carving contest back in February? Hey, what's that smell?
ReplyDeleteWoody: I don't really understand what your comment is implying but if it's favoritism you're way off the mark. I have no control over who bids what or when they bid it. All the bids are there for anyone to see which is the way it should be.
ReplyDeleteHey I bid on the carving as well. Plus I won the last auction and I think I outbid Myron.
ReplyDeleteJust because someone wins a contest does not mean they cannot bid.
Maybe, just maybe Myron wants to collect Lynn's carvings. I don't see anything wrong with what is going on.
Woody: I removed your comment as it reflected on another carver. I will not allow that here. While I appreciate your continued interest in this Blog that appreciation will quickly wane if a lack of respect to the other viewers is shown.
ReplyDeleteRM: A very sharp knife is the key. It leaves the surfaces extremely smooth. I've never experienced any raised grain problem.
