Road Agents at Prairie Dawg Junction

And here is the last one.  Nothing to fix here.  As soon as those two Bandits get through lifting those poor travelers of their belongings the coach can continue on it's way to the museum.  There are a lot of new photos in the gallery and while you're checking them out note the Bandit on the horse.  Judy sat on a saddle in the shop wearing a slicker while I whittled the folds of the coat.   Another little note is that I think the riderless horse in front is the best one I've ever done.  While it might not show, the inside of the coach is also detailed.

  4. I was astounded and amazed when I looked at the saloon (and I studied that one first in Picasso)...but then I looked at this one and I think I dislocated my jaw when it dropped open. I cannot get over the myriad of small things in this scene that are s great. The prairie dogs are probably my favorite..but that rabbit with his hands in the air is priceless...the robber studying the watch...the possessions scattered on the ground...my God man this is perfection in wood. I could use every adjective in my vocabulary and still fail to do justice to this scene...all I can say is I might as well throw all my tools away cause I will never get anywhere near a tenth as good as this. Bravo to the Maestro.

  5. LOL I think Ms Judy is the real hero here. It's not every wife that would model for you that way. :) As always, an amazing piece of work and wonderful that it'll be in a museum where it'll be seen and appreciated by a large audience. I was blown away by the Medicine Show, this is even better! Thanks for sharing with us.

  7. I enjoyed seeing this piece.
I could go on and on about the good points but I wouldn't. You can't be accused of not having enough detail. Glad you added the chickens along with the other details. Thanks to you and Judy for sharing with us.
