Lynn, the cross-hatching pattern that you used on the outside looks amazing when painted. I am very surprised at how much it does look like beading. Thanks for sharing another technique with us. The leather ties really do give it a bit more of a realistic feeling. Guess I'll have to start keeping my out for old leather coats.
