It's been a few years now since I first started this experiment in digital woodcarving and as the interest in it seems to be always on the increase I just want to take a moment to say Thanks for your support and encouragement. I lifted the graph on the left from the site monitor this morning.....can you tell when the videos started? I guess I don't need to ask if that idea worked. I will admit that making those videos kind of cuts into my own whittling but that's okay.....the response to them is more than worth any effort on our part.

So, thanks again! And I hope you'll stick around as I've got big plans for this place.

I have to echo both previous comments. Those videos and for that matter the photo gallery has fired up my desire to get back to carving.

I am sure that appreciation for your efforts and the overall effect of your endever to help and share your talent and creative is more than just grafts. From blogs and comments it is very apparent that many carvers are loged in on a daily basis to see what is new. I among many others watch the videos over several times and glean another bit of insite each time on how to become better at our hobby and in some cases craft.
ReplyDeleteMany thinks and keep on with both videos and blogs.
Awating the next issue,
Charlie
Lynn I have you as my top site on my browser and look so forward to each posting. You have become my favorite "TV" show all without commercials ;-) I echo the others in saying I am learning so much, things I would have never known about carving, presentation, painting all done with humor, insight and a great teaching style. Thank you so much for what you do. I love the interaction with your bride. It "feels" like we are all there with you.We a joy that would be.
ReplyDeleteAs I have been reading the posts over time in conjunction with seeing / hearing the projects, it is very apparent that you are doing considerable good for people that is just not related to carving a piece of wood. Thank you seems insufficient.

I think that I can speak for us all when I say a big thank you for hosting this site. I visit it as often as I can and am never disapointed. Thanks Lynn for all that you do.
ReplyDeleteLynn, I feel it's an honor to be able to share your time and Thank You so much for all the instruction and insight. I know I'm not alone when I say your site is my personal favorite. Am looking forward to see what you are up to next ;O).
