Finally, we get to paint this old codger. Hopefully, there will be just one more segment after this one. While this has been a great project I'm looking forward to moving on to something else. I think I've got a great one lined up that will appeal to a wide audience and will not be near as hard as this one. Anyway, here is how I painted him.

The armor is looking good. The rust really makes it look old and beat up...like Don. Great ageing techniques.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing what you can do to a piece of wood. Watching you paint Don is truly inspirational. I have had a dislike for painting because I'm not good at it. This makes me want to go paint, he he. Really enjoyed this one. Ginny
ReplyDeleteOpps! I think I got a couple of the segments out of sequence. I think you can figure it out though so will leave it as it is. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteSuch a tantalizing tease!!!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy the tutorial videos, the instructions, the helpful hints and reminders, and the sharing of secrets included in them.
We look forward to the next with giddy anticipation!
