Carving A Cowboy’s Horse – Part 7 – Finishing The Head & Gluing It To The Body

As the title states, we wrap up the head part and attach it to the body.  We’re are definitely cruising now!

  1. Lynn, I noticed that where the neck was joined to the body that the body area was a bit larger than the carved neck.

Do you carve these different sizes intentionally so that it is easier to blend the body and neck?

If yes, is it best to always carve the body a bit larger?

    Great job!

  2. It looks like a horse now!!!! What a transformation.....he looks ready to run off and graze. I am amazed at what a few strokes of the knife can accomplish when directed correctly. Thanks for the great job on the video..really easy to see the detail in this one, and excellent filming and directing job by MRs. Judy...I nominate her for the people's choice award. Thanks for your eforts.

  3. Ditto to the above comments..thanks Kent, couldn't have said it any better.. But Both for the People's Choice Awards....Thanks Judy and Lynn
