Carving A Native American Bust - Part 4

Carving a Native American Bust - Part 4 from Out West Woodcarving Videos on Vimeo.

  1. So, you changed your mind and decided to start with a 3x6x6 block? Interesting tool for hogging out the extra waste off the backside. Wouldn't want to let that chisel get away from you - ouch.

  2. Looking at the size of that piece of wood , it is very big. I know that it is better to have too much than too little. I can't tell ya how good it is to see your videos again. Thanks Ginny

  3. I see the reciprocating hand piece is invaluable on a project that size...certainly couldn't wield a 7 inch knife across that block. Big projects=big tools. Going to be a good'un.

  4. I'm really enjoying this set of videos, Lynn. A big "Thank You" to both you and Judy for continuing this massive effort.
