Carving A Native American Bust - Part 3

Carving a Native American Bust - Part 3 from Out West Woodcarving Videos on Vimeo.

  1. You have a way of making it look so effortless to do those eyes, but then you've done a great number of them. Something for me to aspire to. As usual this is very informative - thanks a bunch!

  2. There is something about this guy I find mysterious. I can't put my finger on it but I do like it. Looking forward to seeing more.
Question.. Did you finish the guy in the canoe? I was really hoping to see a video on that. Thanks to you and Judy for all the hard work in making these videos for all of us. Ginny

  3. You got the eyes to match with just one re-draw! I take many more. When I am having trouble with symmetry (eyes, ears, etc) I often take a 5 minute break and leave the area I carve in. When I come back, I can see the error more clearly than if I had just stared at it for an extended time. I am really looking forward to the part on making the braids. Looking great so far.
