Lynn you are amazing. This guy is going to be a door stopper ( prize winner) for sure. Ginny Kudos to Judy, how she can follow you around so quickly and keep the camera in focus. Good job.
Progress is occurring, he is looking more like a miner daily. I really like the HD videos, but it amazes me that it takes that long to upload...must take a gazillion gigabytes of pixels per video. The mirror is a great idea, but she didn't need it this video. I think the biggest advantage of being on your right side is that it takes your holding hand (the left) out of the view and we can see what your blade is doing more. Thanks for the instruction and I eagerly await the next installment.
I agree shooting from the right is a big plus and the lighting was perfect, didn't miss a single knife stoke, perfect!!! He would look great with a big fat belly, this is going to be a good one Lynn, keep up the good work. Trev
The new camera angle is lots better. Also, I just did my first carving using your technique of doing the arms separate and gluing them on later and was very pleased with the results. I'll be doing that again soon. Thank you, you make us all better carvers.
