Looking real good Lynn. Nice to see how the shallowest of details can make such a difference. My problem has always been carving too bold. I have to try and remember your advice...keep the knife sharp and lightly indicate... :)

You put in way more detail than I ever imagined including...and that is just one of the reasons your carvings are so much more elevated than the average carver's. Not that I am even an average carver yet...but with your help maybe I can get there. The shot in the mirror worked great, good idea to add that view. I too have wondered what you have ben up to off camera..what with Dayton and Woolaroc coming up. Bet you are knee deep in chips over the other corner of the shop.
You always seem to have the real thing there to reference, does not matter if its coveralls, a kettle, a pistol, saddle, lasso or buffalo skull..
