Carving A Cowboy’s Horse – Part 5 – Carving The Saddle

With this one we add the blanket and saddle to the horse.  It might sound difficult but I think you’ll find that it’s really quite easy.  Just do a little research, learn the various pieces of the saddle and you’ll have no trouble.

  1. You make it look so easy...thats the mark of a skilled person, making it look like nyone can do it. I wish I had started crving when I ws younger, I am not sure I have enough years left to get as good as you and a lot of the other cavers...but am going to give it a try. Ths is a wonderful project, and you are a peach for doing it for us. thanks

  2. Lynn, besides the obvious talent that you share so willingly, I think one of things I appreciate most is the way you show/explain your reference material and walk us through potential pitfalls.

    Again, many thanks.

  3. A big thanks goes out to you Lynn and your wife for your tireless effort, that you put into these videos. We are so lucky to have you, to show us all the different techniques. In doing this horse, I will be able to give as a gift, to my niece, a completed horse, that I'm sure she will love. She rides every day. So thanks again. fred k
