Monte Walsh – Part 2 – Monte Gets A Gun

This post is in three parts.  I wanted to give you  as much information as possible about what your carving to assist you in completing this project.  Another great source for antique arms information is right here on the internet.  Just Google what you’re looking for.

I did make one small mistake during my demonstration of loading the pistol.  While you could load the guns cylinder with the cap, powder and wad with it removed you would have to replace it within the weapon to seat the lead ball.  Sorry about that!

If you think I’m getting a little windy in my videos just let me know and I’ll try to tone them down.  As always, your comments are always welcome.

  4. Lynn: A new computer makes your videos fun and interesting to watch. My old machine was terrible. The audio was bad and the buffer would not load the picuture to ensure a continuous show. The new one eliminated the mess. Ahhh technology.
