Some of you out there ask if I could go into a little more detail on carving eyes so here’s a video that I hope will answer that question.
As always, comments are welcomed and appreciated. And I apologize for those little flurrishes at the beginning and the end of the video. I just couldn’t resist the impulse. Give me a movie camera and I think I’m John Ford!
Really well done on the videos Lynn. I still have yet to see #9 and the last one on greater eye detail. But I have really enjoyed them. I would sure be in the market for a DVD of all of them if ever available. Nice-nice job, Thanks so much......Myron
Lynn, I thought the shot of you holding the head at the beginning was a great touch. Helped me truly understand the size of the carving and put your human face on the instruction vice just your hands and voice. Really something else. Also, the humor you inject into your little fellas about what they could possibly be PO'd or thinking about is super. I see the Posse grows by the day. Congrats and thanks again! TomG
That was great! I sure wish you had continued on and show each step to the finished eye. That was the clearest I've seen. I have learn so much from your blog. These videos are a great way to learn. I learn alot more by seeing it done than by reading. Thanks you! Dell K.
Kudos for this follow-up Lynn. It'll make things easier and more understandable when attempting to carve that next pair of eyes.
ReplyDeleteyou explained that well. Even I understood it!
