Well, here's one I completely forgot about! Probably one of my best horses too....certainly the paint job. I didn't feel an actual rider was necessary as by seeing his hat on the ground you can let your imagination figure out what happened to him.

Lynn, how tall is this one from where it is mounted on the base to the tip of the tail? do you recall - or can you approximate?

I think it was about 15" with the base.

Great action on this carving. Did you do any reenforcing on the extended legs to prevent breakage? I think I figured out how you mounted it but the rear legs look very fragile. Which way did you layout the grain? Thanks Steve
