  1. Lynn thanks for allowing us to view the videos. Awesome job as always on this one. I was wondering if you have ever tried the water based poly? Also I have searched everywhere for the red iron oxide. I think it’s been discontinued. Have you decided on a best alternative color? Gabe

    1. they're always fiddling with their colors. I've found you can always find them on the web and as I'm an Amazon Prime member I just get them there. As for water based poly, it leaves a very cold looking finish. Not as warm as the mineral poly.

  2. I'm sorry I didn't word my question more clearly .What I was trying to ask was why didn't you blend the colors for the helmet like you blend colors for the face? I agree with you fully about skin tones. Blending colors is what makes it fun. But thanks for explaining how you do it . Who would have thought Midnight blue would work on the face to look like a 5 o'clock shadow. But it does beautifully .Now for a subject how about the Lonesome Dove guys?Jones and Duval.
