Put the final brush strokes to this one yesterday and considering my constant squinting he turned out pretty nice. There are more photos in the Gallery section and will look forward to your comments.
You did yourself proud with that painting of the beaded jacket he always wore in his later years. Hope your eyeballs weren't getting too crossed so you were seeing double......if at all. This carving will be another of classics.
Beautiful work Lynn! Great job on the eyes. They look very realistic. Love your carvings and someday when I get big I want to carve and paint like you. I, too am curious about another video.
Hi! I saw your work today at Woolaroc and absolutely loved it. The characters in the displays were so greatly detailed and it looked as if the entire scene could come to life. It was all fantastic. I googled your name hoping to find a site where I could see more. :)
Hey Lynn Hope this finds you well and healing real quick. I know only to well the hassles of glasses since I've been wearing them since 10 yrs of age. That thanks to a brother and his swordplay with a switch. One of our club members has an eye problem and is facing issues that they have corrected with laser or other surgery It may come back though as it is congenital so hopefully she carves fast and furious before she loses her sight and is ready to move to the next stage of her life. I thought I was going blind when I tried to watch some of your older videos on Vimeo. In every movie from Pancho back in time I can hear you talking but I can only see a shadow of you in the background and the screen is totally green. A light leafy green. Your other videos show normally. Is this a problem at your end or something to do with technology or could it be my computer?
He looks great, very colorful yet authentic. love him.
ReplyDeleteThe colors really pop! Another great piece of art.

ReplyDeleteAnother excellent piece. Just when I think "Maybe I could do that" you raise the bar a little higher with a project like this.

ReplyDeleteExcellent work. We've grown accustomed to the standard of your work but every piece is unique and so well finished off. Wish i was half as good.
