sure wish I could be there to meet you in person but unfortunately I can't. I will be watching your videos though. I'm sure there will be a crowd there to watch you. Good luck and thanks for all you do to help new and old carvers alike Ginny
Great info on the use of the wood burner and sander in the final phase of carving prior to painting. Especially appreciate your showing and explaining the use of a burner to emphasize detail and creases. You should have a good crowd at Dayton to see your demonstration.....however, watch out for any incoming rotten tomatoes being hurled too........lol!
Great info. I highly recommend the purchase of a Sand-O-Flex, as the one I got after watching you use one made a huge difference in my carvings. Also, when I got a good wood-burner, it was noticeable as well. Save up if you need to, but the finishing tools are just as important as the carving tools, as I learned from your videos. Have fun in Dayton.
Very informative video Lynn , I've just recently bought a wood burner and am getting used to it , I find it hard to know when to stop though! But it works really well to burn away any little fuzzys I might not be able to clean up with my knife!! I would love a sand o flex wheel but I don't think they are available in the UK !!! Think I might have to make my own version! Keep up the good work and good luck at the show. Trev
