I agree with Ginny you do make it look so easy, that's experience I guess, you can't beat it. You really know your human anatomy and explain it very well, I find myself looking at the shape and form of my own fingers, hands etc more and more and it does help a lot, after all if your trying to replicate something what better reference material can you use than the real thing! It’s always a fun learning experience. Your very informative in your videos taking the time to explain your approach is what makes your videos so great.. That and of course and Judy's video skills :)
Good tips...I tend to make the hole in a fist way to big, I like the proportion and size of the one on the hand you are carving. I guess I am afraid the hole will be too little to hold whatever object I am going to insert into the hand. I always see something I need to work on when I look at one of your videos...guess that means I am doing it all wrong...but working to improve. Thanks for the help in improving my ability.
