As always, great work Lynn and Judy. But bad day for Jeff Goldblum and poor Geena Davis...LOL You must be getting ready for rain that's when fly's are more of a pest... Great fun doing this carving...Thanks!!! Maryanne
UH-OH...you slew a fly...now you will have PETA demonstrating in your front yard, I know what you mean about the heat in your neck of the woods. My wife is from Tulsa and has relatives scattered in Eastern Oklahoma...that heat and especially the humidity about kills me when I am there in the spring and summer. The Viking is coming along nicely..I too had thought that blank would make a good gnome if carved a little differently. I assume you will care a boss and peg it on the end of that dowel sticking out of the shield? He is looking really great, but he needs a name to give him more personality, we need a good Norse name for our boy, Like Ragnar the Destroyer, or Siegfried the Brutal... Looking forward to the next installment, thanks for the video.
A great way to start, by seeing the idea come right on through to where its being carved. Nice job so far and will be watching. Nice job too Judy. fred kwaness
