Viking Warrior – Part 1

I’m going to move away from Cowboys & Indians for a bit and try something new.  Judy and I watched “How To Train Your Dragon”  and I was impressed with the various figures in the movie.  So, I thought I’d take you along from the initial sketch to, hopefully, the finished figure.   Should be fun and we’ll see if we can try some new tricks to make the project that much more interesting.  I hope you’ll follow along and create your own version.

We’re finally at the end of this project and I think it’s one of the best we’ve done yet.  We have a very colorful couple of characters that are sure to appeal to whoever sees them.   I hope you enjoyed following along and if you create your own version I hope it turns out the way you want it to.

It’s time to start applying some color to this lady.  This video is rather long…37 minutes, but some of you out there ask me to really go into the painting aspect of carving so I’ll try and do it with this one.   If I sound a little preachy at times I don’t mean to, just want to give you as much info as possible.  Here we go………
