The Gambler

Here's is one I'm just about ready to wrap up the carving stage.  I had done an earlier one but wasn't satisfied with the way it turned out so started over again.  I still have to add a tied knot to his neck piece which will be a seperate piece due to it being fragile.  This one looks like it should turn out okay.

    He looks real good so far and I'm sure he will be amazing when you're finished. Sorry to hear your first one wasn't to your liking. But on the other hand it made me feel a little better knowing even a great carver such as yourself messes up once in a while. Seems that's all I've been doing (messing up) on the piece I'm currently working on. :)
