He measures around 10-12 inches with the base and once painted should really be a nice one. I did a little extra detail on his watch chain by adding a fob at the button-hole connection.
As you've probably noticed, my posts have been kind of rare lately. Hopefully, once the year turns the urge to produce and publish will return. In the meantime, I hope you like this cowpoke and I'll look forward to your comments as I always do.

ReplyDeleteWell, maybe you have the winter blues early this year, I usually get mine around February and let me tell you we don't have any kind of winter like you guys do.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you need to carve something fun and whimsical not so intense in completing, maybe change it up, carve in the kitchen or sitting in front of the tv with a towel in your lap to catch most of the chip. I think you could sweet talk Judy into letting you do this, actually that is where I do most of my carving in the wintertime.
Heck you might just need a break, I know I have really enjoyed all you and Judy have given to us and am still amazed at what you do and how you do it, thank you and Happy Holidays.....
Your posts are really interesting. This character looks impressive and I am looking forward to see more of your carved characters as well as carving videos to take guidance.
