  1. And another masterpiece is born. It takes a lot of courage to put black (licorice) paint all over a great carving, but you did it and elevated him into a level of realism that few could achieve. He looks like he just crawled out of the shaft after a hard shift and is ready for a few adult beverages and a bath. He is different from your usual western theme, but could be from the era so not as much of a departure as say the Viking. I like to see you do something a little different, but of course the western caricatures are a joy to study as well. Hopefully, you will undertake a new project on the blog, and I know we will both enjoy it and learn from it. Can't wait to see what is next.

  3. Takes a brave man to dirty up an already fantastic carving Lynn, but he looks even better than before, can't wait to see him finished !
    Got a request for you Lynn, now your using the HD camera could you give us some good close up shots of before and after you use your sand o flex wheel , would love to see the difference it makes close up! Thinking of making my own version .
