Finally getting around to clearing a few things off the carving table.....Billy Yellow Horse being one of them. I've done several similar figures of this pose in the past but this one is still different than all of those. There are several more photos in the gallery and your comments are appreciated as always.
Another great carving and painting..You are the BEST!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with us. He looks so proud of his outfit and all the colors in it.. I would be, too!! Mary Anne
Lynn, you have a great carving there. I love the way you paint your carvings and this one is very nice indeed. It kinda looks like Billy smoked a little to much of that peace pipe of his... lol. Thanks for everything you do for your followers Lynn. You are a great carver.
ReplyDeleteI really love this fella. The colors are fabulous. And, as Jerry said, he really looks like he enjoyed a LOT of that peace pipe. Thanks again for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWell done! It is tough to make out what is in his right hand, his tobacco pouch perhaps? That would long with fancy bead work with a flap and he would have it over his body and down his side, a canteen more than likely. I like him no mater. I also look forward to seeing more of what you produce. I like it very much.
ReplyDeleteWell... a drum! Long day. Sorry. Only you know Lynn.
