Early Morning Snow Out West

Woke up this morning to 4 inches of fresh snow and snapped this photo of the shop and Gallery about 6:30am. Thought it was pretty enough to pass along. Shortly after taking it though I fell flat on my patootie on the way to the barn to feed the horse!! Fortunately, only my head hit the ground and not my wrist.

  1. Lynn ,
Glad it wasn't a bad fall . It's 20 below here in IL. . Had some time thought I would peruse a few of your videos . I have been carving for about a year . I would say I have been quite influenced by your carving . I thought I wanted to be a power carver , bought the foredam and some other stuff . The foredam has not even gotten out of the box yet ! Once I caught one of your videos using the utility knife I said no way but had to try it . It has been a mainstay for me . It just feels right . I enjoy the way you decribe what you are carving and the easy layed back way in which you present it . This is not to take away from the fact that they are very well done . Your time and effort is much appreciated . Stay Warm and on your feet !

  2. Lynn, the picture is simple beautiful and I'm glad you didn't re-injured your wrist or hurt anything else. By the way what is 6:30 AM, is that before the sun and me get up, I thought you were retired!!!

    PS
I glad you had 4" of snow if we would have had it the city would close down.
