I think I finally may have figured this video stuff out enough to post something useful. As I just finished photographing my newest piece I thought showing how I did it would be a good place to start. One thing I forgot to mention was to make sure you use a tripod. You want that camera to be steady as a rock when you press the button.

Great job! Where do I send the Oscar too??
ReplyDeleteThanks for the photo takin' video. Even though I have taken 100s of pictures of carvings, I still picked up a couple new, good ideas.
ReplyDeleteYa gotta nice voice, too.:-)
Great video Lynn. The only photos that I have really taken are snap shots of the kids and such. It's nice to see how do take a portrait shot. I'll use this technique to take some shots of my latest carving before I post it. Thanks for sharing your expertise.
ReplyDeleteGreat help on the photo taking. Thanks for shareing this technique.

That was great! It's almost like being there. I also liked hearing the love you have for what your doing.
ReplyDeleteok I guess it's time for me to advance up from this Dial-Up internet service. After 20 minutes of downloading the video, I had only 18 seconds of it. At that rate it would take me over 3 hours to download it. Anyway I really like the Rise & Shine carving.....Myron
ReplyDeleteWhat a great tool this video is! I'm looking forward to seeing a video of you acually carving one of these great pieces! This one really turned out great by the way. I especially like all the little added touches.
