I've been keeping an eye on my Daily Hit Counter since my accident and have sadly watched as the counts dropped off each day. As it seems the herd is straying I think I'd better suck it up and take on a temporary hand...(get it? "Temporary Hand"?)...and try to wrangle you strays back into the corral.-
What better way to do that than to use the carving that made me famous...at least to my mind. I did this one back in 1997 and am proud to say that it took top honors in just about every show it was entered into. It was also featured on the cover of the March-April issue of Chip Chats.

If you go back to an earlier post titled just "Eureka" I explain the process of how this scene was created. My poor forefinger can't take the punishment of typing all that in again.

I still have this piece but made another similar one for a collector out in California. If I can ever locate pictures of that one I'll post them in this album.-
So anyway, I hope I can once again pique your interest in this place enough to keep you in sight as I'd sure hate to lose you.

Lynn, don't worry about the numbers - once word gets out you're back to posting full time everyone will be back, and the numbers will soar. Take care of yourself & let the wrist heal.

Lynn, nice to see that you are able to punch the keys on that keyboard of yours. Don't worry about loosing the herd, we aren't going anywhere. Oh, and by the way, your "Eureka" is deffinately one of the best I've see.
Haven't lost interest in your site and never will.......just thought you'd be doin' a little R&R after your operaton so I've been visiting your old posts and reading about the techniques you use on whatever......some times us Mavericks cool it for awhile but generally mosey on back with herd eventually. Get well soon & we'll be looking at/for new posts and carvings as you feel up to doing them.
Hi Lynn, Take what ever time it takes for that to heal. In the long run you will be better off. There are lots of old post to look at for now.

Lynn, I haven't been able to carve since Chistmas, but was thinking about picking up a knife soon. That sent me to WCI where I heard about your accident and surgery, and that sent me here to check on you!
