Carving a Caricature Head - Part 1

Okay!  The fiber-optic line is in and we're ready to start some new projects.  I thought for the first one we'd drop back to the beginning and do something we covered almost 8 years ago just to test the waters.  I'm not sure how or what this will eventually turn out to be but will try and make it as interesting as possible.  Compared to the earlier videos this one is just shy of 40 minutes long.   You will have to let us know what you think about it.  Too long?  Too much talking?  Anyway.....here goes!

  2. Love learning from your videos and seeing what I'm doing wrong. As a beginner there's not to many videos that you can watch that are any where as good as your. Thank you

  3. Thanks to you and Judy both!

I've waited a long time and look forward to the rest of this series. Each one helps me improve - and drives up my envy of your skills.

    Thanks!

  7. Well done Lynn and Judy. I think I've watched the first head video 10 times and may watch this one as much. I like when you make comments and even like it when Judy chimes in.

The only thing I would like to see (and it has nothing to do with the video) is the dimension from the top of the head to the bottom of the chin. I think that would be more helpful than the dimension from the top of head to the bottom of the neck stem. Just my two cents. Thanks for the effort Lynn ... your videos have taught me a lot through the years.

  9. What is the name of the tape you use for your thumb guard? I couldn't catch the name on the video and there are about a hundred different ones on Amazon.
    Thanks.
